When we were introduced to Sculptris and the new brushes features I wanted to implement all of it into a production character. A while ago I found this excellent concept by Dongjun Lu( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kzaKn) and knew I was going to give it a try.
Using sculptris for the blockout and new brushes features such a Snakehook 2 and the elastic feature.
Using TexturingXYZ new animal displacements were very important on this process, as I can fasten up the skin process and mostly focus on form on the sculpt. You can find the animals displacements here: https://texturing.xyz/collections/animals
This is a first preview I did for the beta, still some areas and accessories need to be polished but happy with the result. More to come!
